Day by day....oh dear Lord!

Second post. These are the early days. In a cafe all day trying to make sense of the blogosphere...or whatever it's called. Feeling proudly behind the times. Read some great blogs today and will continue to include them on this site. Fantasizing about about a life in the black...free from debt...at peace with a savings account and smart investments...what a sea change in consciousness. Desperate to buy John Bogle's new book on smart investing. John Bogle? What the hell? Anyway...posted my financial story on someone else's blog today and actually wrote that I "love" the on-line community of bloggers about finances. Oh it's all happening so fast Toto.

Cool Series of Articles

Okay so this is my very first post on my new site. In an effort to reinforce my own need for financial discipline I've undertaken an interesting new hobby: I've been providing basic financial counseling for friends. This has not only been a great step towards putting pressure on myself to meet my own financial debts (ridding myself of credit card debt and building up my savings) but it has opened up a whole new area of interest for me. So, I'll be mostly providing links to interesting articles and adding my two cents here and there as I embark on this endeavor.

Anyway, so here is the link to a series of articles about debt in America that ran in the Boston Globe. Enjoy!
