In an effort to reinforce my own need for financial discipline I've undertaken an interesting new hobby: I've been providing basic financial counseling for friends. This has not only been a great step towards putting pressure on myself to meet my own financial debts (ridding myself of credit card debt and building up my savings) but it has opened up a whole new area of interest for me.
